Two Fatalities Result from Horrific Car Crash in Lawncrest

A horrific car crash in the Lawncrest section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania resulted in two fatalities. On Thursday afternoon, around 4 pm, the fatal car accident occurred when a sedan flipped over after colliding into another car in the parking lot of an apartment building on Oxford Avenue. The 51-year-old woman who was driving the car succumbed to her fatal injuries at the scene of the car crash while the 54-year-old male passenger was taken to the Albert Einstein Medical Center before suffering a fatality.

Speed may have been a factor in the car crash previously described. Many times, when drivers engage in excessive speed they may put the lives of their passengers, other motorists, and themselves at-risk for incurring a range of personal injuries as well as potential fatalities. Other contributing factors to serious car accidents include intoxicated driving, distracted driving, reckless driving, or drowsy driving.
