Schuylkill Expressway Crash Fatally Injures Tow Truck Driver

A tow truck driver sustained fatal injuries after a crash on the Schuylkill Expressway on Sunday night. Around 9 pm, the car accident occurred when a vehicle hit a tow truck driver in Lower Merion Township, Pennsylvania. Although the driver who struck the victim left the scene of the accident, later on, the driver was apprehended by the Pennsylvania State Police.

Late at night, visibility on roadways may be diminished, and drivers may experience driver fatigue, which could contribute to a serious motor vehicle accident. If drivers exit their vehicles on a busy highway or in the dark, they may be at-risk for incurring personal injuries or even fatalities. Even if a victim survives the accident, they may suffer from extended emotional trauma, debilitating injuries, and the inability to earn an income, which may lead to mounting medical bills.
